Brestovitsa Erigone Rubin

A very well-known and indigenous Bulgarian variety, a cross between Syrah and Nebbiolo. Peppery with fruity character, hints of blueberry and ripe red fruits it will go very well with many local dishes or can be drunk by itself. It is produced in one on the Rhodope mountain foot hills. This wine comes from the area most famous for its Rubin wines, not far from the town of Plovdiv, one of the oldest tows in Europe.
