Quinta da Raza Colheita Selecionada Avesso-Alvarinho

This wine results from a rigorous selection of our best Avesso and Alvarinho grapes and the perfect communion between technique and tradition. The grape crop is picked manually into small boxes. The grapes are destemmed and then pressed at low pressure. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Following this process, 10% of the previous vintage, which has matured in oak for one year, is added to the wine. Then the wine is rested in stainless steel tanks for 4 months on the fine lees. Before bottling, the wine is filtered and cold stabilised.

Quinta da Raza Avesso / Alvarinho is a high quality wine, intense and fresh, with a fruity and floral aroma and with great complexity in the mouth and a persistent aftertaste. It is made from a blend of two high quality grapes, resulting in a powerful wine with good ageing potential.
