Bodegas Valduero Visits Singapore
We had the pleasure of welcoming José Muguiro, representing Bodegas Valduero, to Singapore this October. His visit brought together wine lovers for two memorable events, each celebrating the artistry of Spanish winemaking from Ribera del Duero.
An Evening of Flavour at Shao Rangoon
On 13 October 2025, Dunstan Vintner partnered with Shao 燒 Rangoon for a Wine Dinner featuring five award-winning wines from Bodegas Valduero. Guests indulged in authentic Teochew cuisine paired casually with exceptional Spanish wines, with no formal pairings, just good food, great company, and lively conversation.
The evening featured a beautiful line-up that included the elegant Blanco de Albillo, crafted from the native Albillo grape, the powerful and structured Finca Azaya, and its elevated counterpart Finca Azaya Premium, known for its depth and complexity. Guests were especially drawn to the Valduero Una Cepa, made from old vines that produce wines of remarkable intensity and character, and the 6 Años, an extraordinary long-aged wine that has earned critical acclaim, including 97 points from Decanter.
Among them, the Valduero Blanco and Valduero Una Cepa stood out as crowd favourites, captivating guests with their freshness, balance, and distinctive style. The evening captured what we love most about wine: the joy of sharing, discovering, and enjoying in good company.
A Full House at Au Mariage
The following night, José Muguiro joined us for an intimate yet lively Wine Tasting at Au Mariage, and it turned out to be a truly unforgettable evening. A full house gathered to experience the Valduero range, and the enthusiasm in the room was contagious. By the end of the night, twenty bottles had been enjoyed, a testament to the irresistible charm of these Spanish wines.
José’s storytelling brought each wine to life, turning the evening into a celebration of Spanish heritage and passion.
Celebrating the Spanish Spirit
Both events reminded us that wine is more than what is in the glass. It is about the people, the stories, and the shared moments that make each experience meaningful.
