An Evening of Fine Portuguese Wines at Lusitano

Dunstan Vintner hosted an exclusive Taste of Portugal event on 20 November at Lusitano Restaurant, located at 371 Beach Road. This private gathering brought together a vibrant mix of guests, from young professionals discovering Portuguese wines for the first time to long-time friends who have supported our journey from the beginning. It was our great pleasure to share the joy of wine discovery with Singapore’s growing community of wine lovers.

A Curated Journey Through Portuguese Wine Regions

Guests enjoyed a guided tasting of six exceptional wines that showcased the freshness of Vinho Verde and the depth and complexity of the Douro Valley. The evening continued with three classic Ports and concluded with two distinguished Aguardentes. Each pour reflected Portugal’s heritage, craftsmanship and dedication to quality winemaking.

Chef Tiago Martins Fernandes of Lusitano Restaurant prepared a thoughtful menu of Portuguese appetizers and snacks that complemented the wines beautifully. The pairing of authentic flavours with expressive wines created a complete and memorable tasting experience for all attendees.

An Evening of Connection and Appreciation

The event was filled with warm conversations and genuine appreciation for Portugal’s winemaking heritage. Young professionals exchanged ideas with seasoned wine enthusiasts, creating a lively atmosphere that highlighted the universal love for good wine. The final round of Ports and Martha’s Aguardente brought the evening to a satisfying close.
