On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, Dunstan Vintner attended the Alsace–Rhône Seminar in Singapore held at the Raffles Hotel Singapore. The event was organized by Inter Rhône and the Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins d'Alsace (CIVA) and presented by Terroir & Spice. It gathered wine industry professionals for a focused afternoon dedicated to the wines of Alsace and the Rhône Valley.
Representing Dopff au Moulin, we joined importers, distributors, retailers, sommeliers, HORECA professionals, and media for a trade-only seminar designed to deepen understanding of two of France’s most distinctive wine regions.
A Meaningful Milestone For Alsace and Dopff au Moulin
This year marks a significant milestone for Alsace wine history as Crémant d’Alsace celebrates its 50th anniversary. Within this context, Dopff au Moulin’s participation in the seminar carried added significance.
As one of the historic pioneers of Crémant d’Alsace, Dopff au Moulin continues to honor this legacy through its dedication to traditional method sparkling wine. At the seminar, this story was expressed through the presentation of Crémant d’Alsace Cuvée Julien Brut by Dopff au Moulin, a cuvée that reflects both heritage and continuity in Alsace sparkling winemaking.
At Dunstan Vintner, we are honored to carry forward the legacy first shaped by Julien Dopff, especially in a milestone year that highlights the importance of Crémant d’Alsace on the global stage.

A Curated Journey Through Alsace And Rhône
The seminar showcased eight carefully selected wines that highlighted the diversity, character, and terroir expression of Alsace and the Rhône Valley. Each wine was chosen to illustrate regional identity, creating a structured tasting experience that emphasized style, origin, and winemaking philosophy.
Following the seminar, participants were invited to a free tasting of an additional 12 wines. This walk-around format allowed guests to explore at their own pace and compare different expressions across varietals and appellations.

A Trade-Focused Platform For Exchange
This was a closed-door industry event, open only to trade professionals including importers, distributors, hypermarkets, supermarkets, sommeliers, HORECA buyers, and media. The setting encouraged meaningful exchange on market trends, wine positioning, and evolving consumer preferences in Asia.
Beyond tasting, the seminar served as a platform for education, reinforcing how regional French wines continue to find relevance in international markets through clarity of terroir and strong producer identity.
Continuing The Regional Wine Dialogue In Asia
The Singapore seminar forms part of a wider series of initiatives by Terroir & Spice in collaboration with CIVA and regional French wine bodies. Their past activations in Hong Kong and Japan have similarly focused on building awareness of Alsace wines and their versatility across global dining contexts.
In Singapore, the combined focus on Alsace and Rhône strengthened the narrative of regional diversity within French wine, highlighting how tradition and evolving market expectations continue to align.
For Dunstan Vintner, the seminar was an important opportunity to engage directly with trade partners and reaffirm the value of terroir-driven wines in today’s market. Representing Dopff au Moulin in this milestone year for Crémant d’Alsace underscored the continued relevance of Alsace wines within curated wine programs across Asia.
