A Night of Wine, Trivia, and Friendship at DV Wine Tasting Trivia Night

Our first DV Wine Tasting Trivia Night proved that good wine and good company make the perfect pairing. Held at XLX Modern Tze Char on November 6, 2025, the evening welcomed guests for a cozy and interactive experience filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of clinking glasses.

Guests were treated to six curated wine pours, from refreshing Portuguese whites to elegant reds from Australia, all perfectly matched with XLX’s flavourful and comforting dishes. The room quickly filled with chatter as everyone compared notes, guessed aromas, and shared their personal tasting impressions.

The trivia, played in a bingo-style format, kept spirits high. From questions about tannins and terroir to fun tasting challenges, each round brought moments of surprise, learning, and laughter. Our quizmaster was in top form, keeping the crowd entertained and the pace lively as players raced to shout “Bingo!”

What made the night special was the atmosphere — warm, relaxed, and genuinely engaging. Conversations flowed easily and new friendships were formed over shared love of wine and discovery.

As the final prizes were awarded and the evening wound down, it was clear that DV Wine Tasting Trivia Night wasn’t just about competition, it was about community, connection, and celebrating the joy of wine together.
