This wine is produced from single vineyard grapes grown in South West Bulgaria, specially selected for optimum ripeness and terroir character. Grapes were handpicked in small crates. The wine goes through traditional fermentation with longer maceration on the skins before being aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels. It continues its maturation for 6 more months in bottle before being released on the market. Dark inky ruby in color, it enchants with a complex aroma of blueberries and blackberries, vanilla and sweet spice, hints of tobacco and bitter chocolate. A full bodied and sumptuous palate leads to a complex long lingering finish.
